Full Moon and Owling at Gouveia Park

Join birders from Saw Mill River Audubon and astronomers from Westchester Amateur Astronomers for this special event in partnership with Friends of Croton Parks.
 
We will be enjoying the full moon rise with telescope viewing. We will also stroll along the roadways of Gouveia Park on a guided owl prowl to listen for one or more local owls. (If we are very lucky, we may even see one.) Everyone will have the option to try each activity. 
 
By registration only and space is limited. Register below.
 
For adults. Youth age 8 years and older are also welcome, if each accompanied with an adult. 
 

IMPORTANT: if your plans change, email us immediately because we expect to have a waiting list for this special event!

  • Parking is limited at Gouveia Park so registration is by vehicle. 
  • No drop offs are possible. One registration form per vehicle. 
  • Do not register people coming in different vehicles on the same registration form. 
  •  Solo travelers are very welcome but, if you can, please carpool.
