6:00 am/from Millwood 7:30 am/at Bashakill

We’re heading over to Bashakill Marsh Wildlife Management Area in Sullivan County, about an hour’s drive from Millwood. Bashakill Marsh is the largest freshwater wetland (> 3000 acres) in southeastern New York. Hoping for some excellent spring birding!

Carpooling may be possible from Pruyn Sanctuary in Millwood or from elsewhere. Register for carpooling options as driver (for passengers to share gas costs and provide company) or as a passenger.

Please always check the our event calendar (on front page of our website) before traveling, in case we make changes to the outing. We will also email everyone who registered at least two hours before event start if any changes. Only severe weather will cancel otherwise we go rain or shine!

Dress in layers. Bring water and snacks, as desired. Best for adults and youth 10 and up.
