celebrating local bird photographers!
Saw Mill River Audubon celebrates our local bird photographers with an annual calendar of New York birds. New for 2022 is also a separate gallery show of local bird photography sponsored by Saw Mill River Audubon to be held at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library with details to follow.
Our 2021 calendar had some phenomenal photographs, and we are now seeking exceptional photographs for our 2022 “Birds of New York” calendar.
New this year is an entry fee of $10/photo which supports the local conservation and education work of Saw Mill River Audubon, as does the sale of the calendars. Thank you for that support.
We are looking for a variety of bird species photographed in all seasons, including winter. Please send your photos of raptors, warblers, thrushes, shorebirds, waterfowl, and songbirds of all kinds photographed in the Hudson Valley region.
Multiple submissions are encouraged. Submissions are open until August 15, 2021.
We will contact you by September 15 to let you know if your photo has been selected for the 2022 calendar.
- Also check out our February 2022 bird photography exhibit to be installed at the Hendrick Hudson Library. Deadline for submission of photographs for the library exhibit is November 15, 2021.
